Great food is at the core of what we do. But it’s our people who bring our unique events to life. Delivering corporate hospitality, dining and event services across the UK and Ireland as Sodexo Prestige, we serve great food in every sector. From events such as Royal Ascot, The Open and the Gala Evening at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, to executive fine dining, hospitality in airline lounges, museums and staff restaurants, we provide a range of food services at both casual and fixed locations.

Life in events is exciting, fast-paced and with occasional long hours. It offers huge satisfaction in a job well done. It’s a sociable place to be, as part of a close-knit team that deliver memorable experiences for a huge range of clients. By creating long-lasting partnerships, we don’t act like a supplier, but a member of our client’s team.

No two events are the same. And neither are our people. As a diverse team who bring together a blend of experience, expertise and innovative ideas, there’s one thing we all have in common — a focus on delivering the best possible service for our clients.

Every year:

  • We pour more than 375,000 glasses of champagne in 690 function rooms

  • We run more than 12,300 events

  • We operate mailrooms handling 500,000 items, from diamonds to furniture

  • Our Christmas trees are grown on sustainable farms, where every acre produces enough oxygen for 16 people a day

  • We’re proud of winning awards for our work — which this year includes a Good Egg Award from a leading farm animal welfare charity

Better Tomorrow

With a genuine passion for food, we also know how important community values are. Sourcing local ingredients keeps food miles low and supports our communities.

It’s all part of our ‘Better Tomorrow Plan’ which helps us grow our business ethically and sustainably, as well as:

  • Reduce our carbon footprint and waste

  • Improve the health and well-being of our employees

  • Source local, seasonal and healthier products

  • Only working with suppliers who meet our sustainability standards

  • Help fight hunger and malnutrition everywhere

People are the vital ingredient in everything we do, from sowing talent into our business to growing it with inspirational training.

A key role within Events

Events managers lead and inspire teams of receptionists, chefs, waiters and others, always ensuring we have the right resources, the right people, the right food and drink.

“A business is only as good as its people. And believe me, when your business is food, that statement takes on a whole new meaning. If one link in the chain is weak, our clients will taste it. That’s why we only work with the best people − from our suppliers to our employees.”

We've a world of talented people dedicated to delivering quality of life services.
