At Sodexo, we are passionate about recognising employees who live our values and rewarding those who show commitment, dedication and loyalty to the business.
In October 2011, more than 140 employees were treated to a special day out in London to mark 20, 30 and even 40 years' service to Sodexo.
Every year we celebrate our long-serving employees by inviting them to London. This year, employees were treated to afternoon tea on board Sodexo Prestige's Bateaux London, where they enjoyed a cruise on the River Thames, taking in the sights of the capital.
Once docked on the South Bank, our long servers took a flight on the London Eye on what was a beautiful clear day, before being chauffeured to Madame Tussauds - on traditional Routemaster London buses - for a fantastic dinner and entertainment, rubbing shoulders with the (waxwork) stars.
The day was topped off with an overnight stay in London's prestigious Cumberland hotel near Marble Arch.
Sodexo's chief executive Aidan Connolly says: “This annual event is a great opportunity to show just how much we value and appreciate all the hard work, dedication, and loyalty of our long-serving employees. Our business relies on tens of thousands of talented individuals who provide our customers and clients with exceptional service every day.”
