Supplier Code of Conduct

Suppliers are an integral part of our business and it is essential that they share our goals. We expect all suppliers to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct that is based on the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, of which Sodexo Group is a signatory.

We expect all suppliers to comply with our Supplier Code of Conduct that is based on the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, of which Sodexo Group is a signatoryOur core suppliers are 'preferred' for a reason: they are safe and reliable, can deliver the quantities we need on a regular basis, and meet our ethical, social and environmental standards. The Code fo Conduct is sent to all core suppliers who are also encouraged to ensure it is communicated and its principles adopted throughout their own supply chains, as far as reasonably possible.

In ensure alignment in values with our suppliers, we send them a pre-qualification questionnaire. Our core suppliers receive an annual survey to communicate the seriousness of our commitments and our expectations. The responses to the questionnaires inform the tender process for potential suppliers and help us to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for engagement with suppliers.

Sodexo is a member of the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (Sedex)To facilitate the sharing of auditing results amongst the industry, Sodexo is a member of the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange (Sedex), a membership organisation for businesses committed to continuous improvement of the ethical performance of their supply chains.
