Directors Table awarded further business by ING
20/2/2007
Directors Table, Sodexho's fine dining division for its business and industry clients in London, has been awarded a three year contract to provide an additional range of facilities management services to ING, worth an estimated total turnover of £12 million.
The new services include engineering, cleaning, security, help desk, space planning, waste management and porterage.
Caroline Gardiner, managing director of Directors Table, said: “ING is an important and valuable client that works in true partnership with us, and we are therefore delighted that they have chosen Directors Table to provide further services. The provision of the current and additional offering reflects Sodexho's strategy to become a leading provider of integrated facilities management services.”
Directors Table has provided services since 1982 and, prior to this new business, has managed the catering, post room, receptions and room bookings at a turnover of approximately £2.17milllion a year.
To deal with the new business Directors Table has employed directly four additional staff and around 50 sub-contractors which are in additional to the existing 50 employees.
The new services were previously managed in-house.
Tony Instone, ING's head of premises and facilities management, states: “We have had a long relationship with Directors Table and this expansion to their contract was one of natural progression.”
