Prestige Scotland wins customer service excellence award

28/9/2009

Prestige Scotland fought off fierce competition to become the winner of the Excellence in Customer Service Awards at the annual Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce Northern Star Business Awards.

Prestige Scotland's, part of Sodexo and one of the UK's largest event caterer and provider of corporate hospitality packages, entry was based on the customer service provided by Prestige Scotland at Aberdeen Football Club. From the traditional pie on a match day to fine dining and corporate events, Prestige Scotland has looked after every aspect of catering during its 15 year relationship with Aberdeen Football Club. The company's ability to deliver consistently such a wide range of excellent services to players, staff and AFC clients earned the company the award.

Lynne Duncan, sales and marketing manager at Aberdeen Football Club, said: “AFC has been catered for by Prestige Scotland for over 15 years now and they continue to deliver a first class service to our staff and clients on a daily basis. From match day hospitality to conference and banqueting, every member of the Prestige team strives to go the extra mile, ensuring the food and service on offer to our clients is of a consistently high standard.

“They show great dedication and act in an extremely professional manner from conception to conclusion of each and every event. We know how happy our clients are with the service Prestige and ourselves provide because they tell us in a questionnaire at the end of every season.”

Within a year of implementing a new system of operational standards for its non-match day service, known as 'Success Guaranteed' the conference and events business for the unit increased by 44%, most of which was repeat business from satisfied customers.

On receiving this award Alyson Cawley, managing director for Prestige Scotland commented: “This is a great achievement for Prestige Scotland. It is a real honour to be recognised, especially given the competition and the number of dedicated and great people there are in the industry.”
