Sodexo Ireland has won TFM Service Provider of the Year at the third annual Facilities Management Awards Ireland.

The event was held earlier this week at the Ballsbridge Hotel in Dublin.

The awards celebrate the outstanding achievements made by the individuals, teams and organisations within the FM sector.  The 18 categories recognise those that have made a positive contribution to the knowledge, practical application and communication of strategies to improve the sustainable performance of their premises, while adding to the core value of their clients business.

Part of the global Sodexo Group, Sodexo Ireland employs approximately 2,000 people in 200 locations across Ireland, and serves 90,000 people daily.

Sodexo Ireland has developed its offer to reflect the changing demands of its clients and consumers. From catering, cleaning and asset management, to security and grounds maintenance services, our integrated approach enables it to unlock value and achieve strategic estates objectives, which means that Sodexo’s clients can focus on their core business. Currently, in Sodexo’s business in Ireland, less than 5% of all contracts are single-service contracts.

Margot Slattery, country president, Sodexo Ireland, “This is fantastic news.  Over the last few years we have been able to tap into best practice and innovation from across the world thanks to Sodexo’s global structure. This has helped our business in Ireland move from predominantly providing a single service to today where 95% of our contracts see us delivering integrated facilities management services to some 60 clients across the island of Ireland.

“The transformation from single to multi-service delivery would not have been successful without the committed and skilled team we have working for Sodexo in Ireland. So it is a big thanks to them who helped us win this award.”
