Sodexo walked away with the Partners in Expert Services IT award with Mitchells and Butler

Sodexo, the world’s largest services company, walked away with the Partners in Expert Services IT award with Mitchells and Butler and the Partners in Apprenticeships and Training award with GlaxoSmithKline at the 2013 PFM awards held on 6 November in London.

Sodexo’s first award of the night went to Sodexo and Mitchells & Butler as Partners in Expert Services (IT) for their collaborative work in the development of a bespoke online FM solution, the results have not only provided Mitchells & Butler with significant savings but a more efficient integrated system for its building services team.
The second award of the night was the Apprenticeships and Training award which went to Sodexo and GlaxoSmithKline for their work on Project Search, which aims to assist in the transition from education to full-time employment for young people with a learning disability. GlaxoSmithKline hosted12 students throughout the 2012-13 academic year providing them with work experience in several functions run by Sodexo which include front of house, meeting room management, the gym, post room, switchboard, loading bay, catering and housekeeping services teams.
