Sodexo chef Ryan Wilson will soon be seeing his cakes everywhere, as an image depicting his culinary creations has been chosen to front the Olympic 2012 and Jubilee range of cards, produced by Medici Greeting Cards.
The greeting cards giant contacted a number of photographers, requesting images showcasing the quintessentially British theme of “afternoon tea”. Rossana Novella, an accomplished photographer whose clients include Liberty, Paperchase and Selfridges having been impressed by Ryan’s cooking on numerous occasions, subsequently contacted the head chef at Wellington College in Berkshire, to see if he could provide her with the a mouth-watering picture.
After an arduous selection process, Medici selected a range of photographs to front their Olympic and Jubilee range of cards, one of which features the cakes Ryan and his team produced.
Of his achievement, Ryan said, “I am over the moon. I can’t wait until I can get my hands on the cards; I want to buy them all! My friends and family will be receiving them for years to come!”
The collection will soon be available to buy from independent and large retail stores nationwide.
