Sodexo has appointed Steve Wilson as client services director at Sodexo’s Property Solutions division.

Steve’s new role sees him head Sodexo’s client services team which manages contracts for leading blue chip, retail and public sector organisations, overseeing the delivery of services such as FM project management, asset management and a centralised helpdesk provision.

The client services team has a strong pedigree of managing the delivery of best-in-class FM services and identifying investment opportunities across varied and diverse property portfolios.

Steve’s appointment underlines Sodexo’s ongoing commitment to relationship management and building long-term strategic partnerships with its customers.

Steve, a chartered quantity surveyor, joins Sodexo from ISS where he oversaw the integration of the Barclays UK Corporate business into a single self delivery model in little over a year. He also had responsibility for the delivery of IFM services to around 75 corporate properties, including the one-million-square-foot global headquarters at Canary Wharf.

Prior to this Steve spent seven years working for Barclays Banking Group, including as retail services director responsible for the management of FM service delivery across the group’s UK property portfolio of 1,900 retail branches.
