Sodexo recently honoured its long serving employees, recognising those who have completed 20, 30 and 40 years service.

Over 100 employees from across the UK and Ireland were treated to lunch on-board Bateaux London’s Symphony, the capital’s largest restaurant cruise vessel. During the cruise, which took in the famous sites of London, each recipient was personally congratulated by Sodexo’s chief executive Debbie White.

Following the cruise, all recipients enjoyed a celebratory dinner at Madame Tussauds, where a live band played and they were presented with their chosen gift in recognition of their service.

In the UK and Ireland, Sodexo employs 35,000 individuals and provides catering and a range of facilities management services to clients at over 2,300 locations in corporate, education, justice, healthcare, leisure and defence sectors.

Chief executive, Debbie White, said: “People are at the heart of Sodexo. Our business relies on tens of thousands of talented individuals who provide our customers and clients with exceptional service every day. This annual event is a great opportunity for us to show just how much we value and appreciate all the hard work, dedication and loyalty our employees have shown Sodexo over the years.”
