Sodexo, a leading FM services provider, has won a new three year contract to provide 3i with integrated facilities management (IFM).

The deal sees three separate contracts brought into one with Sodexo Prestige, Sodexo’s corporate dining, hospitality and services division, continuing to provide catering at 3i’s head office in London, in addition to a range of services previously contracted to two separate suppliers.

The IFM services now provided to 3i’s employees at Palace Street in Victoria by Sodexo Prestige include cleaning, switchboard, reception, mailroom and mechanical and electrical engineering.

Sodexo Prestige has catered for 3i, an international investor with over £12bn of assets under management, for 20 years.

Chris John, managing director, Sodexo Prestige and Corporate Services, UK and Ireland, said: “Retaining this contract and gaining all additional services is a great achievement for Sodexo Prestige, and recognition of the fact that the team has worked hard to grow and nurture both the business and the long-standing relationship we have with 3i.

“This was a real team effort to move from three different suppliers to one, and provide 3i with an IFM solution which will deliver efficiencies, one point of contact, financial savings and meets their business needs going forward.”

Lewis Claxton, group procurement and property director at 3i, said: “Sodexo Prestige has been a trusted supplier to 3i for many years, providing catering, fine dining and events services. Following an in-depth review of our facilities services requirements, we recently appointed Sodexo Prestige as sole provider of IFM services at 3i’s head office.

“Our decision to broaden our engagement with Sodexo Prestige was based upon their proven track record of delivering programmes of this type, their strong management team (deploying specialist subject matter experts as required) and above all an unwavering commitment to provide good quality, value for money services.”
