Three Sodexo employees won their categories in one of hospitality’s most prestigious awards ceremonies.

At the FSM Awards in London this week, Marie Arthur won area manager of the year, Linzi Purves won the sports, leisure and event catering award and Fleur Robilliard won the people development award.

Sodexo Government Services account manager Marie Arthur is responsible for 140 employees across 26 Transport for London sites. Since coming into the role two years ago, Marie has driven up employee engagement, improved profitability and reduced cost to the client. Marie also won regional manager of the year at the Foodservice Cateys last month.

Linzi Purves is account manager for The Open golf championship with Sodexo Sports & Leisure. As the sole full-time employee working on the event, Linzi was behind the largest hospitality offer that Sodexo has ever provided for the event, earning praise from the client for her top class level of service.

Sodexo Sports & Leisure training manager Fleur Robilliard undertook the enormous task of putting together a 3,500-strong hospitality team for Royal Ascot. A combination of permanent and agency employees, often from disparate areas, came together under Fleur’s guidance and training to deliver consistently high levels of service for the challenging event.

Sean Haley, Sodexo UK & Ireland region chair, said: “Marie, Linzi and Fleur embody the hard work, initiative and ability to deliver an impeccable level of service to our clients that we strive for at Sodexo, and demonstrate the talent we have in our business. Congratulations to Marie, Linzi and Fleur on their great success.”
