Sodexo held the largest long service event in its history in September when 171 employees received recognition for their careers with the company.

Sodexo employees with either 20, 30 and in some cases 40 years’ service were invited London in recognition of their commitment and loyalty.

The day began aboard Bateaux London with the 171 recipients enjoying a relaxing lunch whilst taking in famous sights such as the Houses of Parliament, St Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge from the River Thames.

The celebration continued with a glitzy champagne reception and three-course dinner at international tourist attraction Madame Tussauds. On arrival each recipient was personally introduced to Debbie White, regional chair for Sodexo UK and Ireland.

Guests danced away into the small hours before staying overnight in the Millennium Gloucester Hotel London Kensington.

Debbie White, Sodexo UK and Ireland regional chair, said, “People are our greatest asset at Sodexo. Our business relies on tens of thousands of talented individuals who provide our customers and clients with exceptional service, acting as ambassadors for Sodexo every day.

“This annual event is a great opportunity to show our appreciation for our employees and to show just how much we value all the hard work, dedication and loyalty they have shown over the years.”
