Sodexo has retained their gold accreditation by Investors in People (IIP) for its work at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

The IIP gold award recognises companies which showcase exceptional teamwork and best practice.

Paul Devoy, CEO of Investors in People, said: “We’d like to congratulate the Sodexo team at Chesterfield Royal Hospital. Gold accreditation investors in people is a fantastic effort for any organisation and places Sodexo in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”

The IIP assessment of Sodexo’s work at the hospital found:

  • People are clearly engaged in and are passionate and proud of their work
  • Managers have created a working environment which is open, honest and supportive
  • Leaders invest significantly in developing their teams

Greg Austin, HR Director for Sodexo Healthcare, commented: “I am delighted for Caron and the team. Retaining the IIP Gold accreditation is great recognition for the hard work and commitment to engage, develop and invest in our people, particularly during these unprecedented times.”

Caron Bromley, General Manager for Sodexo at Chesterfield Royal Hospital, added: “We were first awarded the IIP gold accreditation in November 2016, and we are absolutely delighted to have retained this accreditation status four years on.
