Sodexo has acquired the award-winning MTS Health Limited to expand its business in the healthcare sector.

Founded in 1999, MTS Health are the UK’s leading provider of Medical Equipment Asset Management with expertise in clinical engineering – a biomedical speciality to use technology to optimise healthcare delivery. 

MTS Health specialises in strategic equipment planning, procurement; clinical engineering and medical equipment asset management. Leaders in their field, MTS Health mobilises professional teams of clinical scientists; clinical engineers; CIPS procurement and project managers. 

The company is currently involved in the Government’s high-profile Health Infrastructure Plan and has recently won a significant operational project delivering clinical engineering services across 91 healthcare sites. 

MTS Health has successfully commissioned more than 30 large hospital redevelopments throughout the UK during its two-decade tenure and were recently awarded the BBH Clinicians Choice Award.

The acquisition enables Sodexo to build on existing business in the USA and Asia Pacific regions, and MTS Health’s wealth of technical knowledge and operational experience to enhance services for clients in the UK and Ireland.
