Social Value at Sodexo

Social Value at Sodexo

Creating Social Value Within Our Services

Ten years ago, we published our global corporate responsibility roadmap – Better Tomorrow 2025.

We have plans in place across our business to create social value, reduce our impact on climate change, to cut waste, to recruit people from marginalised groups like ex-offenders, to cut plastic from our supply chain, to spend more money with local suppliers and SMEs and promote more women into leadership roles.

We know we need to do more to meet the challenges we face.

Even before the onset of Covid-19, we faced a global threat from climate change and there was a growing sense of inequity.

We hold ourselves accountable to behave responsibly in the way we do business with our clients, partners and suppliers to diminish adverse social impacts that may result from our activities. We know we must get better as a company at ensuring social value is embedded throughout our contracts and our frontline operations.

We put in place policies, values, and codes to frame our practices and expected behaviours around key issues such as respect for human rights, animal welfare and sourcing policies.
