April 2024: The DIO team at headquarters British Forces Cyprus and Sodexo’s contract team in Cyprus were awarded Team of the Year for their collaboration and support in Operation Polar Bear, the largest UK non-combatant evacuation operation involving more than 2,400 British nationals evacuated from war-torn Sudan in the summer of 2023.
April 2024: Sodexo UK & Ireland has been recognised for its commitment to health and safety with six gold and two silver medals as well as four President’s Awards, given to organisations with ten or more consecutive gold medals.
March 2024: Sodexo Ireland won four awards including Total FM Service Provider of the Year, Facilities Management CSR Initiative of the Year, Best People Development in Facilities Management and account manager Michael Galkin won FM Service Professional of the Year.
October 2023: The Sodexo team at Northumbria University received the Excellence in Customer Experience award for its Residency Living programme which delivers support for students from the start of their university journey through proactive and reactive initiatives to help them thrive
June 2023: Sodexo Live! received 11 accolades with Newcastle United FC taking home the big award of the night - overall matchday hospitality champions - plus three other wins.
November 2022: Sodexo’s Appetite for Action campaign to tackle food waste in the foodservice industry was named the winner in the Best Waste Project Communication and Stakeholder Engagement category.
May 2022: Following its win at the 2021 IWFM awards, the Sodexo/AstraZeneca partnership was put forward for the Global FM awards and received silver for its workplace experience programme.
April 2024: Sodexo was named Partner of the Year at the Springboard Awards for Excellence 2024 with David Mulcahy, Food Innovation & Sustainability Director, School & Universities, recognised as joint winner for the Chris Beaumont Outstanding Contribution Award.
March 2024: The Sodexo Live! team at ACC Liverpool received the Sports, Leisure & Event Catering Award. Sodexo Live! is the catering partner for The ACC Liverpool Group, providing retail catering and hospitality services for the venue all-year round. The ACC Liverpool Group consists of the M&S Bank Arena, an award-winning Convention Centre, and the Exhibition Centre Liverpool.
November 2023: Sodexo received a silver award at the ESG Awards in the category for Best ESG campaign or case study to improve the quality of people’s work or their access to work. This was won for the Starting Fresh programme which drives awareness of the practical steps organisations can take to recruit ex-offenders directly from prisons via recruitment days and visits to prison training facilities to meet people achieving relevant qualifications during their sentence.
October 2023: Sodexo Schools took home the Best Use of Technology award for School Food United. The Extra Mile Award went to Sodexo Government for its work providing food services round the clock for the thousands of military and government personnel involved following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the period of official mourning, the state funeral and subsequently the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla
June 2023: it was a triple triumph at the 2023 awards with Sodexo colleagues taking home the Cleaning Operative of the Year for both the offices over 100,000 sq.ft and the offices under 100,000 sq.ft as well as winning the Education Cleaning Operative category.
June 2022: Sodexo received the Social Impact & Diversity award for its work to tackle modern slavery and was named runner up in the Stakeholder Engagement category for its Appetite for Action campaign.
