Justice and prison management services

Sodexo provides full prison services that cover catering, facilities management and operational functions across England and Scotland, with over 7,000 inmates in our care. We ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of everyone living and working in our prisons, offering rehabilitation services, resettlement programmes, vocational training, as well as work experience in workshops and industries.  

We work in partnership with a range of local and national organisations to improve the outcomes for people in our care. Our partners have a shared vision to help us achieve our aim in changing lives for the better through the various activities and services that we provide across our prisons. From education and employment opportunities to rehabilitative services and mental health support, we build fruitful partnerships that benefit those in our care.  

Reducing reoffending and risk of harm is our aim across our prison services and operations. We treat those in our care with dignity and provide opportunities for purposeful activity, employment, education, and rehabilitation services to give them the skills, qualifications, and support to lead law-abiding lives in their community on release. Through our Starting Fresh programme, we give both offenders and businesses the needed tools to support the employment of people with criminal convictions.
