Gaining the highest level of Green Meetings accreditation follows a rigorous, independent evaluation of Sodexo Live! and the stadium’s operational impact. The certification provides trusted third-party validation that the venue successfully balances best-in-class hospitality with responsible, sustainable business practices.
This achievement is the result of close collaboration between Sodexo Live! and Brighton & Hove Albion to collect the evidence required to demonstrate their joint sustainability efforts across a broad range of criteria focused on three categories; people, planet, and place.
Key highlights recognised by the assessors include:
- Event spaces that are inclusive, welcoming and accessible for all visitors and fans.
- Comprehensive energy, water and waste management across the stadium.
- Actively supporting local businesses and food producers across the region.
- Promotion of local tourism experiences and outdoor activities.
