Sodexo’s Corporate Services receives prestigious Order of Distinction from RoSPA

Sodexo UK & Ireland is proud to announce that its Corporate Services business has received the RoSPA Order of Distinction having achieved 15 consecutive golds. The company also received three President’s Awards and five golds in the 2026 RoSPA Health & Safety Awards programme.

Sodexo embeds health and safety into all its business operations and continually strives to create safer and healthier working environments for its people, its clients and its consumers.

This success reflects Sodexo's ongoing pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement in health and safety standards.

The three President’s Awards were received by Sodexo’s Health & Care business and is awarded for achieving 10 or more consecutive gold awards:

  • Wythenshawe Hospital, part of the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (13th consecutive gold)
  • Oxford Road Campus hospitals, part of the Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (12th consecutive gold)
  • Royal Stoke University Hospital (12th consecutive gold)


Gold medals (five to nine consecutive gold awards) went to Colchester Garrison for its 7th consecutive gold and Sodexo’s Agencies & Property Professional Services for its 6th consecutive gold award.

Other Sodexo contracts receiving a gold award in the 2026 awards programme were:

  • Project Allenby/Connaught, part of the MOD estate managed by Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO), 5th consecutive gold
  • Colchester Garrison - Transport services (2nd gold)
  • Hereford Hospital

2026 marks the 70th anniversary of the RoSPA Awards. The awards recognise the achievements of companies prioritising the safety of workers in UK, and has grown into the biggest and most prestigious health and safety awards programme in the world, with the 2026 awards attracting 2,000 different entries from nearly 60 countries.

The RoSPA Awards are sponsored by the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH), a leading global organisation, which provides internationally-recognised health, safety and environmental qualifications that raise the competence of safety and environmental professionals as well as individuals at all levels in the workplace.
