Sodexo, the world’s largest service company, have won the Business and Industry Award at the annual Food Service Management Awards in London on Monday 19 November 2018.

Colm Daly, business manager for Sodexo at Allstate NI received the Business and Industry Award on behalf of his team at the 2018 FSM Awards. Colm is pictured on the right with colleagues Alaistair Armstrong, account manager, Government Services and Cathy Adamson, craft development chef for Sodexo in Northern Ireland, who was also a finalist in the Executive Chef of the Year category at the awards.

Led by Colm, the twelve strong Sodexo team delivers a range of catering and hospitality services to Allstate’s 1,400 employees at its Belfast office.

Commenting on the win, Colm said, "At Allstate NI, we created a bespoke brand for our client that brings an unique identity to the catering services we provide. We work in partnership with our client, investing and evolving to meet the needs of our customers in the staff restaurant. Ours is the space where our customers can refuel, socialise, collaborate and grow, with health and wellbeing choices alongside hot and cold dishes embracing global cuisine trends and traditional customer favourites and the chef’s live theatre to deliver a little bit of ‘wow’!

The annual FSM Awards has 13 categories recognising and honouring outstanding individuals and teams that have established exceptional standards of professionalism and innovation in the foodservices industry in Northern Ireland and the UK.
